Manimegalai is a Tamil television presenter and video jockey who has been in the industry for nearly 12 years. She has hosted shows on Sun Network since 2010, and she joined Star Vijay in 2019. She gained followers for her audacity in expressing herself and raising her voice in the face of adversity.She is currently appearing as comali in Cook with comali (Season 3) and hosting shows on Vijay TV.
Private life: Manimegalai
Manimegalai was born in the Tamil Nadu district of Tiruppur to businessman Ramaayyappan and Jothimani. Gunamani, her younger sibling, is a Visual Communications graduate. Manimegalai attended school in Coimbatore until the third grade, when she moved to Chennai with her family to attend Shanthosh Vidyala Matriculation School. SRM University awarded her an MBA (dual) in HR and Finance (Vadapalani Campus). She born in 7 May 1993 and her age is 29 years.
Television Career: Manimegalai
Manimegalai made her debut as a Video Jockey on Sun Music on December 30, 2009[10] at the age of 17 and hosted her first programme, Super Hits. She later hosted live shows and reality shows on Sun Music, including Franka Sollata, Black, and Kollywood Diaries, among others.Manimegalai conducting an interview with Kamal Hassan.
She rose to prominence as a television anchor after hosting a number of live shows and celebrity interviews. Manimegalai was named Best Anchor by the World Human Integration Council in 2016. Dr.K.Rosaiah, the then-Governor of Tamil Nadu, presented her with the award. Her fans dubbed her “Anchor Superstar.” She left Sun Network in January 2019 after 9 years to star in a Vijay Television reality show called Mr. And Mrs. Chinnathirai with her husband. Manimegalai and Hussain were named second runner-ups for their final performance in Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai. She then hosted a few special shows and a reality show on Vijay Television. She also appeared on the entertaining cooking reality show Cooku with Comali and became one of the most well-known Comalis for her impeccable comedic timing.

She also hosts other events such as college culturals, audio launches, and award ceremonies.
In January 2018, she hosted her first audio launch for the film Tik Tik Tik, and she has since hosted numerous other audio launches and success meets for Kollywood films, including the ’96 success meet.
She also appears on comedic debate talk shows. Her first debate talk show was on May 31, 2019, and she was praised for her humorous and bubbly speech.
Acting
Director Praveen Bennett initially cast Manimegalai in the role of Venba (now played by Farina) in the serial Bharathi Kannamma, which she declined.
She agreed to appear in a single shot, confronting the male lead’s mother character, at the director’s request.
Manimegalai has no desire to act and instead wishes to focus on anchoring.
On June 4, 2020, YouTube Manimegalai and Hussain launched the YouTube channel Hussain Manimegalai. A short clip from one of Hussain Manimegalai’s videos was shared on YouTube India’s social media accounts.
Within a year of its launch, Hussain Manimegalai’s YouTube channel had over a million subscribers and over 100 million views. By March 2021, the couple had received two awards for their YouTube channel.
